First Snow of Fall

Here it is on Saturday... sunny, temperatures in the late 60's early 70's, and of course my Boo waving to the camera... Then this morning we woke up to a beautiful white world, you can't see it in the pictures but it is still snowing. Smells so fresh, I love the first snow of the season... makes me want to curl up next to the fire and read a good book (which I haven't had time to do in a long while) with hot cocoa or something hot to drink in hand.
Back yard. There was quite a bit more snow when I woke up but of course I didn't get the picture taken until a few minutes ago.

Looking out from my front door, the mountains look really pretty in the back ground and by the tree the grass is still green. Just pretty!

Hi! I'm here visiting from SITS and just wanted to say hello!

You have a beatiful family--and snow?!?

Love the 'Thankful Thursday' idea! Too often we go through too many days without giving thanks--

cheers!

Hi there, I am visiting from SITS. I can't believe that you have snow... I can wait for ours to start because once it does it does not end.

Make it a great day!

Wow! And I thought New England weather was changeable and unpredictable! I love snow, too, and curling up with a book and hot chocolate by the fire sounds lovely.

Thanks for stopping by!
I wish we had snow way more than we do here in TN. I think it is so beautiful... until it turns to sludge :)

I love the first snow of the season too! It's so beautiful and clean. Although when it starts to drag on I really start to miss the warmer weather when we are trapped inside! :)

Thanks for your comments SITS sister. I can't believe you already got a snow. I am counting the days here in Mi. The leaves are incredible this year the trees look like balls of fire! I love the fall so I am hoping it will hang in there before the first snow but I do love snow too!

Blesings,
Amie

Oh and yes I'm always tired from all these guys! :-)

I think ours is on it's way VERY soon. It's gotten down in the 30's already! As cold as I am, I always love the first snow:)
