A Prayer Shawl

I got this book last year with the intention of making a prayer shawl for my Mother-n-law last Christmas. It never happened, but it did this year!!!! YEAH!!! This is the end result.

I really like it!

I am in the process of making two more of them for a couple of special people... They are a different pattern... we will see if I get them done! Lol

A little side note: Now that hunting season is over I have the deer back in my yard... They are so beautiful with their winter fur.

I have heard about the Prayer Shawl but haven't made one yet. I miss the deer wandering in our yard. I love them so much.

The shawl is beautiful! I wish I could make things like that! I keep telling Hubs that I want to take a class or something to learn!

And I love deer. I think it is extremely cool that they are right there in your backyard!

Thank you so much for making my SITS day so special!

This coat is simply gorgeous. I made several prayer shawls and gave them to friends who go through cancer treatment or divorce or mourning the death of a loved one. I heard the prayer shawl, but did not yet one.
